HFG are currently recruiting for a reputable Lloyd's Syndicate who are seeking a Senior Underwriting Governance Analyst to join their team.
My client is looking for someone with 2/3+ years experience and the main duties of the role will include working closely with the underwriters to ensure profitability whilst being involved with lots of regulatory oversight and policy documents. This would suit someone with experience operating within an Underwriting Controls Framework in a Lloyd's capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining a set of exception reports to ensure that all risks underwritten comply with the Syndicate Business Plan.
- Implementing improvements to current processes and assisting with various large projects across the organization.
- Generating accurate and timely internal and regulatory reports, and assisting with internal and external peer reviews as needed.
- Updating the Underwriting Policy, Underwriting Authorities, and other key control documents as necessary.
- Supporting efforts to enhance data quality in the Underwriting Systems.
- Documenting and updating Underwriting processes for both Lloyd's and LIC business.
- Performing any other relevant tasks as needed.
