Senior Transactional Lead | Manchester | Up to £41.50 per hour | 3 month contract | Hybrid

Marks Sattin are delighted to be recruiting for a Senior Transactional Lead for a public sector organisation. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the finance function, collaborating with managers and staff to enhance key financial processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Lead the Transacting team to deliver operational excellence, overseeing business support functions, annual planning, reporting, and risk management.
  • Strategic Development: Contribute to the development and communication of financial strategies aligned with organisational goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders, policymakers, and clinical experts to develop and implement innovative strategies that meet evolving needs.
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing performance metrics and ensuring operational efficiency.


About you:

  • ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified accountant is essential
  • Demonstrable senior management experience, including budgetary responsibilities and strategic planning.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, deliver results, and lead teams effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a track record of driving innovation.
