Salary: Negotiable depending on skills and experience

An excellent opportunity has become available for a Senior Town Planner to join one an established environmental and planning consultancy in Cheshire. The company have a network of offices across the UK and work on a variety of medium to large scale developments within the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors.

For this role it is anticipated that the successful Senior Town Planner will:

  • Have a BSc / MSc (or equivalent) in an appropriate planning related discipline
  • Be MRTPI qualified (or close to achieving this)
  • Have combined public and private sector planning experience
  • Large scale renewable energy and/or infrastucture project experience
  • Hold a full UK driver's licence

Duties:

  • Preparing and submitting complex planning applications and appeals
  • Liaising with clients and local authorities
  • Preparing reports and statements
  • Liaising with clients
  • Attending site visits
  • Mentoring junior members of the team
