In addition to using your expertise to guide and mentor more junior, but highly capable test engineers, you will be responsible for:-
- Debugging test sequences
- Implementation of test sequences into high speed produiction lines
- Introducing new products and machine change-overs in respect of the test sequences
- Analysing faults & reporting to management & product development teams
+ what are they looking for?
To be considered for this role, you'll have test experience in an electronics manufacturing plant and be a competent user of NI TestStand and Labview. You will also be able to understand code written in either VB, C, C++ or C# to such an extent that you can reverse engineer it and make any modifications where necessary. You will also be required to maintain the test cells to ensure optimum performance. If in addition to the above, you have experience with LabWindows CVI, Vector tools and/or have worked in a high-volume electronics manufacturing environment, then this would be a distinct advantage to your application.
