As a Senior Technology Risk Management Executive, you will champion robustly implementing our cutting-edge technology risk management strategies and practices. You’ll craft and uphold the highest standards of technology policies and ensure they adhere to regulatory compliance demands.
Furthermore, you’ll be our vigilant guard, proactively monitoring technology risks, forging strong alliances with stakeholders, and pioneering initiatives to elevate our IT risk management frameworks. Armed with a deep knowledge of information security principles, leading industry practices, and regulatory blueprints strengthened by impeccable communication and analytical prowess, you’ll help us manage our risks effectively.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Champion the implementation of key risk indicators (KRIs), ensuring real-time oversight of IT risk exposures and offering transparent, authoritative reports to the leadership.
- Observe IT risks, craft comprehensive risk profiles, and steward the IT risk register.
- Evaluate and refine technology policies, standards, and procedures, guaranteeing they meet regulatory mandates.
- Nurture relationships with risk proprietors to ensure they effectively manage risks and substantially reduce potential impacts from incidents, breaches, or deviations.
- Pinpoint gaps and guarantee that remediation aligns seamlessly with compliance mandates and industry standards.
- Deliver insightful technology risk supervision through compelling, data-enriched risk analyses.
- Communicate regularly with business users and stakeholders to understand technology compliance requirements.
- 5-7 years of work experience in technology risk, preferably in the fintech industry
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, risk management, or a related field
- One or more related certifications in technology risk management, information security (e.g., CISM, CISA, or equivalent)
- Expertise in enterprise IT governance and IT risk management using the COBIT framework in regulated environments
- Knowledge of financial products and services and supporting technology systems/platforms, with familiarity in front to back-office processes
- Ability to work well individually and in a team environment
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
