Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager with proven software development experience to work on a hybrid basis for a company based in the East Grinstead, West Sussex area. This is a temporary Senior Project Manager role to start ASAP and will be working for up to 6 months.

Senior Technical Project Manager duties:

  • Produce, maintain and manage multiple projects through the entire project life cycle
  • Estimate and plan projects from start to finish, with built in contingencies
  • Ensure that the project is delivered within the agreed financial budgets
  • Project budget management, expenditure and costs
  • Work closely with all stakeholders to understand the business - project requirements
  • Manage issue / risk resolution and project change control
  • Manage, monitor and motivate the cross functional teams assigned to the project
  • Effective management of key suppliers delivery within project delivery

Skills and experience:

  • Proven Project Management experience, ideally within Software development
  • Technical project management experience and track record of successful project delivery
  • Project management methodology such as PRINCE2 and AGILE, whether it is CMM, PMI, MSP etc
