Senior Tax Transformation Manager

We are looking for a Senior Tax Transformation Manager with expertise in SAP to lead and manage the delivery of global tax transformation and technology projects. This role is integral to our finance transformation program, helping clients design, build, and deploy ERP and tax automation solutions tailored for Tax.

Day-to-day of the role:

Lead the overall delivery of tax transformation projects, often as part of a wider finance transformation program.

Assist clients in designing, building, and deploying ERP and tax automation solutions.

Support clients in understanding the importance and value of Tax and how to optimally address tax requirements.

Collaborate with other Tax Transformation colleagues and groups within the organisation such as Consulting.

Help clients develop robust global governance and process frameworks.

Contribute to the development of service offerings and delivery models.

Establish and maintain strong client relationships.

Line manage and oversee the output of managers, assistant managers, and offshore resources to deliver client projects.

Identify additional service opportunities for clients and liaise with subject specialists.

Provide coaching and technical support to team members.

Adhere to best practices and policies.

Experience in leveraging technology and automation for efficiency, risk management, and value.

Knowledge in process, risk, and controls design.

Excellent interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication abilities.

Skilled in problem analysis, identification of core issues, and information integration.

Reputation for quality work, knowledge, and experience.

Experience or awareness of tax and accounting compliance processes.

Deep tax transformation experience with the ability to analyse tax requirements, design tax processes, and implement tax technology solutions.

Practical ERP finance and tax experience, specifically in SAP S4 HANA, Oracle, or Workday.

Strong experience in design and configuration of ERP systems for tax purposes.

Experience implementing VAT determination engines and bolt-ons.

Tax technology implementation experience, including requirements gathering and design documentation.

Knowledge of tax processes such as indirect tax, direct tax, and/or transfer pricing.

Familiarity with end-to-end finance processes and their integration with tax.

Advising on tax technology for compliance and reporting processes.

Project management skills.

Client and engagement management experience.

Willingness to be available for occasional work outside of standard hours.
