Senior Tax Manager - route to Partnership available

We have an excellent career opportunity for an ambitious tax professional to join our client as Senior Tax Manager.

With offices in prime Cambridgeshire locations, this innovative and modern chartered accountancy firm provides a high calibre service to their loyal client base.

This Senior Tax Manager post comes with a career path for the right person, as part of the firms’ succession planning. 

The clients are from a wide range of sectors and complexities in their corporate and income tax requirements.

With the option of working remotely for up to three days away from the office, overseeing a team of dedicated, driven, and talented tax individuals, your role will include:

• Review corporate tax computations.
• Preparing partnership, trust, and personal tax returns.
• R&D tax claims.
• Assisting with tax planning strategies.
• Working closely with managers and other members of the team to ensure successful completion of jobs.
• Acting as mentor for the tax team; assisting with trainees development, reviewing their work, providing feedback.
• Primary contact for your portfolio of clients; liaising with said clients directly to resolve queries.

Given the technical dexterity required, and the potential to progress to the senior leadership team, we invite those tax professionals with knowledge in desired area, with ATT or CTA or considerable experience in a similar role to apply.

You will have been, or are, the first point of contact with clients, managing a portfolio for an accountancy firm, and ideally have mentored juniors.
