Senior Systems Administrator

Senior Systems Administrator - 35-45k DOE

I am working with a company who design and create customisable online community platforms. They are looking for a Systems Administrator to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Providing third-line user support
• Conducting research and development for new systems
• Performing maintenance and monitoring tasks for Linux servers
• Responding to on-call emergencies and managing server recovery

Requirements:

• Proficiency in database configuration and administration, particularly SQL
• Strong experience in Linux server administration and command-line interface (CLI) usage
• Competence in web server configuration and administration
• Strong scripting experience advantageous
• A degree qualification is preferred but not mandatory

Please note this role is a hybrid role, with the requirement of going into the office 1-2 times per week, although remote working may be considered for the right candidate.
