Senior Sustainability Consultant/ BREEAM Assessor - London
Salary and Package: Negotiable depending on skills and experience
Our client, a sustainable construction and regeneration consultancy are looking for a Senior Sustainability Consultant with at least 2 years of experience to join a dynamic, innovative and ambitious team that is focused on achieving ever greater standards of environmental sustainability. It is required that all applicants are fully qualified BREEAM Assessors and have experience carrying out BREEAM assessments in industry. It would be very advantageous for any candidates with experience or extensive knowledge in embodied carbon.
It is essential that candidates have a strong academic background including a bachelor's and/or Master's degree in subjects such as: Energy Engineering and Sustainability, Environmental Science, Energy Systems or any related discipline. The candidate must also have competence and experience in a selection of the following areas: Energy and carbon strategies, HVAC network modelling, In-use energy modelling and assessment and renewable energy feasibility studies.
- Qualified BREEAM Assessor
- At least 2 years' experience as a Sustainability Consultant
- Good understanding of methodologies for embodied carbon design quantification and design principles for circular economy including project experience
- Clear communicator with excellent presentation skills
- Highly motivated, customer focused and willing to take on new challenges
- Good understanding of Net Zero Carbon standards
The ideal Senior Sustainability Consultant will relish being part of a dynamic team within a progressive and well-respected firm, have a serious passion about sustainable solutions and will be already working within a sustainability or engineering consultancy, looking for a new challenge at the very forefront of your field.
