Opportunity to join a busy and vibrant supply chain team based in North Norwich for a leading manufacturer - The Senior Supply Chain Scheduler emphasises on factory and supplier communications and manufacturing activities. The role is responsible the daily activities of an experienced team analyzing inventory and scheduling for both our factories and outsourced products, a varied role and will include the following:
- Managing and developing a team of experienced schedulers
- Responsible for planning work distribution across scheduling, managing and expediting the flow of in-sourced products to their UK regional depot network
- Evaluate and develop solutions to procurement/inventory systems and resolve process issues
- Represent the team with functional meetings
- Responsible for the material inventory management system and associated processes
- Championing department process improvement initiatives
- Identify, report and resolve any potential product shortages against production installation dates
- Drive improvement with depot receiving process
- Data collection and performance monitoring against KPi's
- Developing supplier relationships
You will need the following experience:
- Supply chain, inventory control or material management experience gained within a commercial organisation
- Knowledgement of manufacturing planning administration systems like JDE or MRP systems and inventory control
- Proven analytical skills and IT skills including excel - JDE would be a distinct advantage but not essential
- Working in a customer focused environment
- Knowledge of order processing and supplier management

The role is Monday to Friday - Full time with free parking and benefits
