Maclean Moore are working with their global consultancy client to find a Senior Business Analyst. The successful candidate will be working with a global Pharmaceutical company on an exciting and fast paced project.

Location: Cheshire (Hybrid) - occasional travel to Europe

Duration: 6 months (with further contract extensions)

IR35 Status: Inside

Key responsibilities:

  • Diagnostic assessments across key elements of the clients’ value chain and strategic sites to identify opportunities to unlock Autonomous Manufacturing opportunities by utilizing innovative technology to create value.
  • Autonomous Manufacturing opportunity workshop planning, facilitation, expert cross-industry insight sharing, value proposition and business case development.
  • Development of a roadmap, prioritized by value, with accompanying business cases for the 2025 proposals
  • Complete reference architecture that provides a blueprint for new strategic greenfield sites and considers the existing sites and 'how’ they should transition towards the target reference architecture.

Key skills:

  • Manufacturing and Supply Chain Value stream analysis: Industry 4.0 use case elicitation, business case development and experience of successful benefits realization with novel industry 4.0 technologies including robotics, AI, IoT, and cloud computing. Roadmap creation to enable real-world implementation of above.
  • Business Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of current manufacturing processes, systems, and technologies to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for automation.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including manufacturing leaders, engineers, and technology experts, to gather and prioritize business requirements for autonomous manufacturing.
  • Benefits Analysis: Evaluate the tangible and non-tangible implications of autonomous manufacturing initiatives, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI projections, and budgetary considerations.
  • Change Management: Support change management efforts by communicating the benefits of autonomous manufacturing and providing guidance and support to stakeholders throughout the implementation process.
  • Risk Assessment: Assess potential risks and challenges associated with the adoption of autonomous technologies in manufacturing and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Strategy Development: Work closely with the team to develop a comprehensive autonomous manufacturing strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Prepare detailed documentation, including business cases, project plans, requirements specifications, and progress reports, to support strategy development and implementation.
  • Communication: creation of documentation and presentations to articulate the strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences.
