Key Responsibilities:

• Be the first point of contact for all on site steel/rooftop teams for build issues/queries.
• Liaise with Milestone Project Managers and Build Managers on any on-site issues which have a commercial or operational implication.
• Be the main surveyor for steel/rooftop works ensuring that all relevant information is captured and uploaded to FONN and reviewed with the Steel Ops Manager and Production Manager to ensure steel fabrication process can be implemented effectively.
• Be the main point of contact for large/difficult steel/rooftop builds ensuring that on site teams and subcontractors are set up to client requirements with correct information, drawings, paperwork and permits in place.
• Review SOWs and POWs for each on site team to ensure these are met where reasonably possible, excluding unforeseen circumstances.
• Ensure all H&S standards on site are adhered to and any incidents reported correctly back to the Build Manager.
• Ensure all equipment, machinery and plant on site is as expected and complies with the company H&S standards, report any issues to the Build Manager.
• Ensure that all steel/rooftop site teams have reported in at the beginning of each day when on site to confirm works are set up correctly.
• Ensure that all steel/rooftop site teams have reported in at the end of the day to confirm the works are completed and all photos/ information has been received.
• Improve the quality standard of works on site.
• Mentor new, on-site, starters and newer members of the steel/rooftop on site teams to ensure quality standards are understood and being met.
• Recognise talent or skill gaps within site operative team to advise BM/PM’s on required training or development opportunities.
• On site audits of steel/rooftop teams - minimum of 4no. every month

Any Crossover/Cover responsibilities:

• Work with the Rooftop Build Manager, Production Manager and Steel Quality Inspector to ensure that correct steelwork is available for site teams to load.
• Work with the Rooftop Build Manager, Stores and Steel Quality Inspector as necessary to ensure that the above can be completed effectively.
• Cover site teams in absence and holidays.

• TBC - from 03/10/22 based on snags received.
