Time Recruitment are exclusively representing a national care home provider with and outstanding reputation. We are leading their search for a Senior Staff Nurse in the area of Lancaster; the home specialises in the provision of residential, excellent standard nursing care.
Specially converted service that has recently been renovated; recently inspected the home is compliant and offers longstanding staff and excellent staffing levels due to the longevity of the nurse manager running the home. The home runs smoothly and has astounding staff retention levels and this vacancy is due to internal promotion.
This service Houses up to 65 residents and is split over 2 units:
"65 Bedded Home
"32 bedded residential and general nursing unit
"33 bedded residential and nursing unit
The Role of a Senior Staff nurse;
Reporting to the Home Manager as a Senior Staff Nurse you will have direct responsibility for the performance of staff nurses and care staff within the home ensuring all training and up skilling is completed, staff rotas are monitored alongside auditing and checking any clinical work completed.
You will liaise with a multi-disciplinary team including CQC and generally assist the home manager in day to day duties and have a good mix of clinical and supernumerary time at your own discretion offering autonomy within your role.
The facility offers ongoing support to their nurses, care assistants are highly trained and are able to assist with non-complex medications.
