We are delighted to be working with one our long-term clients. They are recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing IT solutions that support services and products
  • Building and deploying scalable systems and applications
  • Promoting collaboration, leading on design sessions, pair programming and backlog grooming
  • Working with an international team including offshore developers
  • Analysing business requirements working with internal teams to design documentation
  • Leading maintenances and upgrades of existing software applications
  • Providing support in all phases of SDLC
  • Troubleshooting issues in a timely manner
  • Mentoring junior members of the team

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience building Java applications
  • Experience working with AWS Services (S3,EC2,Lambda,RDS)
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Experience working with RESTful services
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts across various teams
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to understand user requests
