1.Typically a PhD or degree from well ranked university or equivalent qualification or substitute relevant experience 2.Demonstrable recent experience (typically at least 5 years) working in similar roles at silicon or networking companies or related field 3.Proven commercial experience developing in C (or other languages relevant to project) 4.Experience in debugging functional and performance issues 5.3+ years experience in C/C++ (use of Linux OS development tool chains and editors) 6.3+ years experience in application and library code development for and using Linux OS 7.3+ years experience with Linux Internals/APIs 8.In-depth knowledge of Linux OS and Linux OS programming (user mode) 9.Experience with software version control systems 10.Experience with user mode debugging using debug tools on Linux OS (e.g. GDB) 11.Experience of In-Circuit Emulator (ICE) debugging 12.3+ years experience managing software development teams 13.1+ years experience working with project planning software tools and techniques 14.In depth knowledge of modern storage technologies and associated network interconnect technologies including NVMe / NVMeoF / iSCSI / RDMA / ROCE 15.Experience with implementing and deploying storage technologies 16.In depth knowledge of filesystem technology e.g. NTFS, NFS, ZFS, EXT2/EXT3 etc. Knowledge of distributed filesystems a significant plus.
