My client is a family ran business with over 30 years’ experience within Forklift Truck Services. Specialising in the hire, sales and repairs of forklifts across the Southeast, Surrey, Kent and London area. Working closely with several manufacturers including Combi & Flexi. They are a main line dealer of industry known Caterpillar. My client is actively looking for a Senior Engineer to join their team and continue providing a fantastic level of service.

Title – Senior Engineer  
Location – M4 – M23 Corridor (Head Office is in South London)
Salary – Basic up to £39,000 based on 40 hours week, Overtime paid at £27.15 per hour, Travel time from home covered less 30 minutes each way, 22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Ensure the servicing, repairs and maintenance of Forklifts are complete to a high standard.
  • Always follow all HSE policies.
  • Testing of equipment.
  • Support engineers to troubleshoot issues when required to do so.
  • Provide technical support to clients and colleagues. Being able to explain issues to all levels.
  • Fault finding of machinery including but not limited to Counterbalance, Reach Trucks, Articulated Trucks & Cherry Picks.

To apply you MUST have or hold:

  • Forklift Truck experience is essential.
  • Strong engineering background
  • NVQ level 2/3 within Forklift engineering or equivalent experience is beneficial.
  • Have a good understanding of LOLER.
