The Role:

The role be working within our Development team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to make a big impact and be a huge part in implementing our future processes.

The base for this position is Basingstoke, this role will involve a blend of office and home working.

This role is offered on a 12 month Fixed Term, full-time basis, working 37 hours.

Reporting to the Head of Sales Operations you will oversee the delivery of a high-quality sales service for both shared ownership and open market sale within Sovereign Network Group (SNG) living.

You will have responsibility of managing a small team of Coordinators.

  • Supporting the Completions Coordinators with complex queries and difficult situations, which providing day-to-day support as required
  • To provide an excellent sales progression and completions service ensuring a highly professional experience for the customer and all stakeholders
  • Responsible for progressing all sales from reservation/ issue of MOS through to Exchange within the agreed time scales (6 weeks) and the subsequent completion of the sale
  • Manage and support the performance of the progression team to drive to achieve our sales completions in line with our business KPI's and forecast figures
  • Ensure that the team are accurately recording all sales data in a timely manner and coordinate any movement and reforecasting, alongside the Sales Manager
  • Deal effectively with all administration and documentation relating to Shared Ownership and Open Market sales progression, preparing confirmation of sale details, ensuring all parties are kept updated throughout the transaction
  • Provide regular forecasting updates, ensuring performance standards are met, progress is charted, and procedures are complied with weekly handovers
  • Carry out regular 121's for individual staff members to discuss KPIs, deliverables and performance as well discussing and supporting pathways for individual development plans

What we're looking for:

  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of buying processes, ideally with a sales background or experience within Housing.
  • Have a proven experience of meeting KPI's and demonstrate you can drive performance within your teams. 
  • Managing a team in a busy sales environment
  • A focus on achieving the best outcome for the customer
  • The ability to coach and develop a team of sales coordinators
  • Strong communication skills
  • The ability to connect with internal and external stakeholders

You will need to have experience of using multiple IT systems, and the ability to understand all the aspects of sales completions.
