JOB AD:

Position: Senior RTL Designer

Type of contract: Permanent, Full time

Location: Montbonnot (Grenoble area, France) or Sophia Antipolis (Nice area, France)

About the role:

You will be part of the Hardware CPU team, in charge of the full development of the new generation of high-performance processors in very advanced technology nodes. The company is fast growing and has over 200 employees.

The company provides a full range of products to enable smarter, more efficient, and energy-wise data-intensive applications and infrastructures. It offers include its unique patented DPU processors, acceleration cards, software-defined storage and data management solutions, for growing sectors such as Data centre's, AI, Media & Entertainment, Life Sciences, Scientific Research, Edge Computing, Automotive.

Your role will encompass CPU specifications, micro architecture, design, power optimization, synthesis and you will support the physical design and verification teams.

Experience:

Minimum 5+ years of relevant industry experience.

Must possess direct CPU / RTL experience.

Skills & Requirements:

Deep knowledge of microprocessor architecture, including expertise in one or more of the following areas: instruction fetch, decode and scheduling, integer and floating-point execution, load/store execution, cache and memory subsystems.

Knowledge of power optimization techniques

RTL design (VHDL or Verilog)

Fluent in technical English

Good communication / reporting skills
