All should have a genuine interest in the welfare, care and development of children and young people with emotional behavioural difficulties and challenging behaviour. You will be expected to serve to the highest standards our customer and partner agencies. You will be an experienced care worker and able to effectively lead a designated shift, whilst helping staff develop skills and knowledge of the residential care setting and support the manager and assistant manager in the day to day running of the home.
You will be required to work on a shift basis, including nights, evenings & weekends ensuring care needs of our children or young people age 8-18 are identified and met. Possession of the NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care – Caring for Children & Young People or the Level 3 Children & Young People’s Workforce Diploma / Level 3 Diploma in Residential Care is desirable but not essential.
