Senior Real Estate Paralegal - Leeds

As a leading Real Estate team, my client has experienced a significant increase in work on a number of property projects. As a result of rapid growth, this Leeds-based team are now recruiting an experienced paralegal with good overall real estate experience gained in a private practice environment. My client is not in a position to consider entry-level candidates for this position as the requirements of this position are only suitable for those with a minimum of 12 months previous experience working in a private practice real estate team.

This role will be wide-ranging and will suit candidates who have previous experience working on general real estate projects. My client is also seeing a lot of growth in Telecoms projects and so any candidates who have previous experience in this specific area of property law would be of particular interest. More specifically, the successful candidate will be expected to perform the following tasks (the below is not an exhaustive list):

• Undertaking due diligence processes on various projects;
• Creating various real estate documents (e.g. leases, licences, deeds of variation etc.);
• Assisting the team with negotiations in relation to leases and renewal leases on various Telecoms projects;
• Collaborating with the wider Real Estate team across various sites; and
• Contributing to the further development of colleagues through internal training and assisting colleagues in the delivery of external training.
