Senior React Developer - Hybrid / Basingstoke, Hampshire

£60,000 - £70,000 plus bonus excellent benefits & growth potential (fantastic employer) / Hampshire (or Surrey) - 2 days per week in the office

This role is a hybrid position and can be based in either their Basingstoke (Hampshire) or their Surrey based office, with the expectation of being in the office twice a week.

The overall package is worth around £75-85k.

A leading financial services company are recruiting for a Senior React Developer / Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about crafting innovative software solutions while mentoring and uplifting a talented team?

They seek a Senior Software Engineer with high expertise in React JS, Azure and Microsoft .NET Core. Extra credit for Mongo and/or ForgeRock knowledge.

Responsibilities for the Senior React Developer / Senior Software Engineer:

• Drive estimation, refinement and sprint planning sessions, leveraging your technical expertise to guide and enable the team to succeed.
• Frontrunner in building the companies delivery community of practise with the emphasis of driving knowledge sharing and empowering others to succeed.
• Work with the architects and product owners to design and implement robust, scalable software designs.
• Lead the conceptualisation, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing features for the existing portfolio of applications for a business area.
• Ensure application solution design conforms to agreed upon quality attributes such as performance, fault tolerance, security, etc…
• Design, codes, configures, unit tests, maintains, and documents software deliverables using agreed upon standards and tools.
• Strong experience in software development and a delivery track record working in a scrum environment.
• Looks to bring testing forward, catch issues before leaving the development environment using automation and best practise.

• Provide technical leadership and contribute to strategic decision-making in automation initiatives.

Requirements for the Senior React Developer / Senior Software Engineer

• A technical skillset to cover: React JS, Azure and Microsoft .NET Core. Extra credit for Mongo and/or ForgeRock knowledge.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, effectively conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Drive best practise and industry standards, ensuring consistency across multiple teams and programmes.
• Bachelor of Computer Science is preferred, or equivalent relevant business experience.
