Senior Quantity Surveyor - Planned Maintenance
Hertfordshire- Hybrid
Salary £55,000- £65,000 + Car/Car Allowance + Package

We are working with a leading Social Housing / Property Services Contractor to recruit an experienced and successful Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Hertfordshire to help deliver two frameworks acting as the main contractor working alongside Housing Associations and Local Authorities. They work consists of external planned maintenance such as windows, roofing, cladding, scaffolding and more.

You will take responsibility, ownership, and accountability of the successful management and control of all aspects of the commercial/financial and contractual elements of the works to control and maximise the company's profitability, protect the company's legal and contractual obligations under the contract, and manage all day to day commercial issues.

Senior Quantity Surveyor Key responsibilities:

  • Managing subcontractor packages
  • Subcontractor negotiation
  • Cost value reconciliation
  • Producing cost reports
  • Subcontractor payments/processing applications for payments
  • Valuations
  • Variations
  • Final accounts

Senior Quantity Surveyor Essential experience:

  • Degree or other technical qualification
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Quantity Surveying experience with a main contractor
  • Experience delivering planned maintenance frameworks
