Are you an experienced residential Quantity Surveyor looking for a change of environment? If so we would like to speak with you about an opportunity to join one of the UK's leading residential developers.

The Company

The Southern arm of one of the UK's leading house builders, covering the North Kent region and delivering 500 units per year.

The Vacancy

Due to sustained growth a new position has been created for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead a team of 3 and oversee the commercial delivery of up to 6 sites simultaneously across the North Kent region.

Reporting in to the Commercial Director you will be responsible for managing up to 3 of your own sites as well as troubleshooting and mentoring a small team of 2 Surveyors who are varying in experience.

You will be based full time from the office whch is based in North Kent with travel to site when neccessary.

As part of the role you will build strong relationships with clients, consultants and sub-contractors as well as internal departments.

In return you will be compensated with a competitive basic annual salary that is negotiable and competitive within the industry as well as a competitive benefits package.

The ongoing benefits package includes; Car Allowance (up to £6k), contributory pension scheme, private healthcare, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and a healthy annual bonus.

The Person

You will have prior experience leading the comnmercial delivery of medium to large housing developments.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level and have a stable career background with a recognisable house builder or main contractor who deliver mid to large housing schemes.

As the position is based in Kent you should be ideally situated to commute between the office and sites where neccessary.
