A leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy is looking for a Senior Project Manager for a 4-month contract initially, (Based in Hatfield (Hybrid), Inside IR35,


A skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) initiative and a SAP ILM (Information Lifecycle Management) Rule Configuration for ERP.
This critical role involves overseeing the planning, implementation, and execution of projects aimed at safeguarding sensitive data and mitigating the risk of breaches, ex filtration, or unauthorised destruction.
The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities:
This role involves project planning and strategy development, stakeholder engagement, team management, vendor management, implementation and execution of DLP solutions, compliance, and reporting.
The role also involves understanding and rectification of the potential impact of changes to any dependent systems for data archiving or destruction.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in managing complex IT projects, particularly in cybersecurity, data protection, or risk management.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a deep understanding of DLP concepts and methodologies.
The project manager should be able to lead, inspire and motivate team members, setting up clear goals and expectations, delegating tasks, and providing guidance and support throughout the project delivery.
Strong stakeholder management: the Project Manager should be able to manage key stakeholders across the organisation, especially at facilitation between the business and the IS teams.
Business Change: As the project is expected to involve significant business user interactions and impact assessing, the Project manager should be able to assess the impact on user community during the designing and execution of the project.
The project manager should be able to proactively identify, engage, and manage the stakeholders, ensuring that their concerns and needs are considered and addressed throughout the project life cycle.
The project manager should be able to demonstrate significant experience in driving the operational and business change projects.
Communication: Effective communication is vital for conveying project objectives, requirements, and progress to stakeholders, team members, and application owners.
The project manager should be able to listen actively, articulate ideas clearly, and foster open and transparent communication channels to ensure everyone is aligned.
Risk Management: Assessing and mitigating risks is crucial in any project.
The project manager should have skills in identifying potential risks associated with removing admin access, analysing their impact and likelihood, and developing risk response strategies to minimise negative consequences.
The project manager should be able to adopt internal project methodology and standards.
Planning and Organisation: The project manager should be able to excel in planning and organising project activities.
This would involve creating a comprehensive project plan, defining milestones, estimating resources and timelines, and allocating tasks effectively to ensure smooth progress and successful project delivery.
