ROLE: Senior Progress Developer

LOCATION: Wiltshire

SKILLS: Progress OpenEdge, Unix (Linux), ERP, Web Technologies

DESCRIPTION:

I’m sure there are lots of benefits working for a large company but there will always be a time when you feel like a small cog in an infinitely larger machine, where your voice isn’t heard over the noise and where your ideas for change take an age to implement, if they are even heard at all.

So, imagine working for a small up and coming tech company where you have regular facetime with the MD who is also a techie and encourages ideas on how things can be done better and more efficiently, a place where you get to interact directly with clients and end customers, sound good?

Due to continual growth a rare opportunity has arisen to work for such a company!

You will have a background working with Progress 4GL and be able to work well in a fast-paced multi functional role. You should be a natural problem solver who loves coming up with solutions and also be customer focused and happy to deal with clients directly.

There is also the chance to take on some team leading responsibilities if that is something that appeals to you. Everything is negotiable.

In an ideal world you will be based in the South West but there is flexibility to work this role remotely so applications from good Progress Developers nationwide will be considered.

This is a fantastic opportunity with a wonderful company so don’t delay in applying and I will be in touch to discuss further.
