Leading pensions consultancy with dedicated Risk Consulting team seeking a senior consultant to join them in a Senior Pensions Risk role, specialising in asset and liability modelling

Oliver James are pleased to be working with a leading pensions consultancy with dedicated Risk Consulting team seeking a senior consultant to join them in a Senior Pensions Risk role, specialising in asset and liability modelling.

Your day to day will centre around providing pension scheme clients with expert advice across both investment and traditional actuarial matters, with technical analysis to be delivered using the latest modelling software. You will specialise in asset and liability modelling in relation to pension scheme investment strategies and advise on strategic decisions on pension scheme funding, risk management and member security.

Role requirements:

  • An interest in, or experience with numerical modelling - strong Excel skills would be beneficial
  • Equally comfortable with both pension scheme assets and pension scheme liabilities
  • FIA status or making strong exam progress would be beneficial but not essential

This is a rare opportunity to work across market-leading Investment and Retirement practices. You will also work with a variety of clients and with a ever-changing investment backdrop, this business has the capability to quickly allocate teams and dedicate resource to respond to market developments, providing a vast array of opportunities for consultants to specialise and create their own role within the business.
