Senior Optical Design Engineer

Circa £58,000

GU23 - Full Time Permanent

Fully on site position

We are looking for an experienced optical design engineer who is either looking to take the next step in their career, or looking to move to an expanding company with top of the line facilities.

What will you be doing?

This in depth role will have you working closely within a team of 12, with the bulk of this role will being concept generation, modelling/tolerancing & experimental testing new concepts for the medical, precision, optomechnical & video sectors.

What do you need to be considered?

  • Strong experience within research & design for optical components.
  • Fluent with design systems such as Zemax or CAD PTC Creo (or similar)
  • At least 5 - 8 years experience within optical design.
  • A degree in physics or optical related subject (optical science, electro optics, geometric & instrumental optics etc.)
