The successful Operations Manager will be considered from any manufacturing industry, including food or drink production, industrial, chemical or textile. You will be knowledgeable and experience within managing automated and production processes.
This role will be covering the Derby region, with travel to other sites across the UK.
As Senior Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading production teams with site managers to improve performance and customer supply. Setting strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity
- Leading operational performance and seeking improvements across technology and automation processes
- Delivering improvements within wastage and energy reduction targets
- Managing finances, developing, monitoring and analysing the departmental and company budgets and financial reports
- Creating financial plans for increasing revenue margins
- Analysing current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary
- Building a strong team culture and driving succession plan to build future talent
- Maximising efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration
- Developing financial and budgetary plans
- Currently working in a Senior Operations role or potentially Operations Director
- Experienced within automated and manufacturing processes
- Highly competent with financial planning, P&L reports and budget management
- Evidence of delivering projects, leading negotiations, purchasing, and putting efficient workflows in place to maximize a company's productivity and performance
- Excellent influential and communication skills
