Senior Network engineer

Responsibilities:Design and Implement Network Solutions:

• Architect, configure, and deploy network solutions based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network components.
• Leverage Cisco technologies to optimise network performance.

SD-WAN Deployment:

• Lead the implementation and management of SD-WAN solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot SD-WAN performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.

Firewall Management:

• Configure and maintain firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Fortinet) to enhance security.
• Implement access control policies and intrusion prevention systems.

Cloud Infrastructure Integration:

• Work closely with cloud architects to integrate network services into cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Ensure secure connectivity between on-premises and cloud resources.

Network Monitoring and Optimisation:

• Monitor network traffic, analyse performance metrics, and proactively address bottlenecks.
• Optimise network resources for scalability and efficiency.

Documentation and Training:

• Document network configurations, procedures, and policies.
• Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to junior team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCIE) are highly desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering.
• Proficiency in SD-WAN deployment and management.
• Strong understanding of firewall technologies (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, etc.).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
