NEW CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE FOR A SENIOR NETWORK ARCHITECT WORKING WITH A LEADING CONSULTANCY ON A GOVERNMENT PROJECT

• Contract opportunity for talented a Senior Network Architect to work on mission critical projects.
• You will need an active MOD SC level Clearance.
• Day rate up to £600 p/day DOE - INSIDE IR35
• Adhoc travel to Barrow in Furness/ other UK sites - hybrid working model - 3 days per week onsite maximum.

WHAT WILL THE NETWORK ARCHITECT BE DOING?

My client is a global leader in consulting, technology services and digital transformation providing bespoke solutions to solve complex operational problems. Trusted partners to the UK Government and as Senior Network Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Inputting into proposals, simple to complex.
• Creating High Level Designs and gaining internal & client approval, following process.
• Creating Low Level designs from approved High-Level Designs
• Configuring core infrastructure components e.g., Data Centre Fabric, Access/Distribution Switches, routers, WAN, firewalls, load balancers, Authentication servers, Wifi controllers, management tooling.
• Performing impact assessments on large or complex networks.
• Inputting into strategy.

THE NETWORK ENGINEER SHOULD HAVE EXPERIENCE IN….

• Network Proposals
• Network Architecture / Architecture (Compute/storage/End User)
• Working in secure environments
• Network Design (HLD)
• Cisco Networking (Routing/Switching)
• Data Centre Networking
• Cisco ACI
• Firewalls (Palo Alto / Cisco)
• Authentication (802.1x / Cisco ISE / AD familiarity)
• Network management
• Load balancing (Netscaler)w
• Cisco SDA (Software Defined Access)
• Meraki
