The Role

Due to rapid growth, we are seeking a proactive Senior Marketing Executive, who will support the execution of our client’s marketing strategy.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things marketing, with a multidisciplined marketing skill set, including both traditional and digital. 

The role will encompass email marketing, social media, brochure creation, website management, planning and research.  You will work closely with an in-house team of graphic designers, therefore creating high quality briefs including copywriting.

Overview of customer channels and marketing content:

  • Account based marketing to small to medium sized business with different spending patterns.
  • Marketing content for larger national merchants and retail customers.
  • Marketing communication to both business owners and central teams.
  • Creating consumer facing marketing collateral that B2B customers will use with their customers  

Key Tasks:

  • Brochure Management – ownership of style setting, content, navigation. Our client produces a number of brochures for different customer channels and you’ll be given responsibility for a selected number of brochures.
  • In conjunction with two graphic designers, create effective email campaigns and use inbuilt analytics to result in optimal performance.
  • Maintain, update and develop a portfolio of websites.
  • Understand best practice and latest development in SEO and ensure the website is up to date for these both technical SEO and content SEO.
  • Lead website improvements and implement new features such as delivery tracking and quote chasing.
  • Use of google analytics to understand and drive website performance.
  • Recommend potential quarterly PPC campaigns and report on their performance subject to approval.
  • Maintain and implement recommendations to improve online ordering.
  • Drive conversion rates with customers to improve online ordering penetration.
  • Managing & posting the social media schedule.
  • Reporting on social media analytics.

Candidate specification

  • Someone who has a broad marketing experience, looking to take on more responsibility and accountability.
  • Driven, flexible and self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt and understand the customer proposition and customer base.
  • Creative thinking to develop customer engagement.
  • Experience of working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Equally as comfortable with traditional and digital marketing.

Work experience/educational requirements

Essential

  • 2 years minimum marketing experience in both traditional and digital marketing.
  • Experience of Email marketing platforms e.g Spotler, Mailchimp, Constant Contact.
  • Working knowledge of Wordpress and Magento / Ecommerce platform.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Social media content / Hootsuite scheduling.

Desirable

  • Previous experience within a B2B company.
  • KBB / Home improvements industry experience.

Location

  • The role will be based in the client’s Denton (Manchester) office full time.
