Based in either London, Leeds or Manchester, a premium, international business law firm, recognised as one of the most innovative in Europe, are looking for a creative and tenacious Senior Marketing Manager with vision, commerciality and gravitas to join their award-winning team.

This role sits within the Marketing and Business Development team, whose focus in on helping the firm's expert Partners and other lawyers to build their brand, communicate persuasively, win business and develop client relationships. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering unignorable, unforgettable, persuasive and effective marketing propositions, projects and campaigns. Working alongside the Head of Marketing, Business Development colleagues, the firm's Partners, an internal team of PR, Web, Events and Design specialists and external agencies, you will deliver the most admired, memorable and effective marketing communications and campaigns not just in the legal sector, but in all of B2B marketing. Managing and inspiring a small team of Marketing Managers and Executives, you will develop a mixture of go-to-market plans, content, sales tools and multi-channel campaigns. The role holder will be focused on helping to stimulate client conversations, generating new leads, differentiating the firm’s services and building their brand. In addition to thinking strategically and commercially, the role will be very hands-on, you will contribute actively to message and content development, make the most of different channels and convert communications into opportunity. The Senior Marketing Manager will be expected to analyse what is working and advise the firm on how to improve marketing effectiveness, setting objectives and KPIs and managing projects against objectives and will subsequently report on progress and identify key lessons learned and to make improvement plans.

To be considered for this great opportunity, you will need to be a highly organised and a brilliant project manager with strong stakeholder management skills and substantial experience working in B2B marketing, ideally in both professional services and partnership environments, to include demonstrable success in managing other marketers and in working effectively with Business Development professionals. The firm’s ideal candidate will possess the marketing skillset to help them stand out from the crowd, earn client attention and to turn attention into opportunity. The Senior Marketing Manager will also be able to think smart and big in terms of communications, client outreach, propositions and campaigns, and have the drive, influence and commercial nous to turn these into results.
