Reporting to the Head of Global Planning, the Supply Chain Operations Centre Sr. Manager is responsible for central coordination of the Global Operations execution of the campaign per the Locked Supply Plan approved by the S&OP processes.  This role integrates the performance across the sites, Logistics and the CMO team and communicates progress against the supply plan, identifies issues for escalation and proposes solutions to deliver against customer commitments.  This role is the Global Operations interface with Commercial Operations for status updates and development of in-campaign changes necessary to meet market expectations.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Management responsibility for the Global Supply Chain Analysts to:

    • Ensure weekly campaign manufacturing performance data, CMO performance data and commercial shipment data are complete, accurate and timely.  This position summarizes into concise weekly campaign manufacturing performance updates for communication to Global Operations Leadership Team (OLT) and Seqirus Leadership Team (SLT). 

    • Ensure the current campaign supply requirements are accurately reflected in SAP through the management of Purchase Orders and Stock Transfer Orders for internal and external manufacture.

    • Collaborate with IT to develop analytical tools and automated solutions to streamline data analytics, improve accuracy of data and ensure timely decision-making to enhance the Customer Experience.

  • Lead weekly campaign meetings with the Commercial regions, Operations, Logistics and Supply Chain QA to review campaign manufacturing/quality performance, key gaps against locked supply plan and develop proposals for resolving supply discrepancies.

  • Collaborate with the broader Supply Chain organization (sites/CMOs/Logistics) to ensure scheduling changes to production, shipment and release priorities (within the confirmed supply commitments) are aligned with latest sales plans.  Escalates issues (together with proposed solutions) to Global Operations for decisions impacting the campaign supply commitments or have significant financial implications.

  • Coordinate the assessment and decision making for in-campaign changes necessary to respond to in-campaign market opportunities between Commercial regions and Global Operations and therefore improve Seqirus EBIT performance.

  • Partner with Global S&OP Sr. Manager to coordinate effective transition of Campaign Supply Lock requirements to Campaign Execution plan for manufacturing, batch release and shipment schedules for all Seqirus influenza products, including ensuring SAP master data complies with approved network matrix and agreed assumptions for linked parameters (e.g. lead-times and batch sizes) at the time of Campaign Supply Lock

  • Lead Campaign Management continuous process improvement (CCIs) after each campaign and create action plans to drive improvements through their implementation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a regulated science or pharmaceutical/biotech environment.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical / biological manufacturing, regulatory standards and environments.

  • In depth knowledge supplying pharmaceutical products to market with problem solving and expediting in a pharmaceutical / biotech environment.

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of managing complex processes.

  • In-depth demonstrable evidence of leading cross-functional teams towards a critical common goal.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Advanced degree (i.e., MBA) is preferred.
