Our client is the world's largest independent renewable energy company. They have a requirement for a Management Accountant to join the Finance Team based in King's Langley or Guildford.

This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days in the office in either Guildford or Kings Langley.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervising the team's preparation of monthly management accounts and assisting with issues or problems that arise
  • Being a trusted business partner for client related partners
  • Co-ordinating the annual budgeting process
  • Preparing the quarterly board reports
  • Overseeing the preparation of statutory accounts
  • Supporting continuous improvement
  • Help with contract review for financial obligations

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant ACA/CIMA/ACCA
  • Experience of monthly, quarterly and annual management accounting routines
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines is very key
  • Ability to articulate financial information to non-financial specialists
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good problem solving skills
