Reed Finance is delighted to be supporting one of our long-standing clients, based in the outskirts of Edinburgh to support in the recruitment of a new Finance Manager Opportunity.

Reporting into the Head of Finance, my client is seeking a talented Qualified Accountant to join their organisation, supporting in the development of 3 Finance Business Partners and working closely with non-finance stakeholders.

The successful candidate will lead the preparation of the monthly management accounts, support with financial planning & analysis, whilst also playing a pivotal role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic budgeting.

  • Leading the Management Accounts team, responsible for accurate monthly reporting with variance analysis
  • Liaising with external auditors & advisors to facilitate financial year-end
  • Producing annual returns for external stakeholders
  • Analysing financial date, to create meaningful MI
  • Supporting with annual budget production, liaising with budget holders, and presenting to Senior Management
  • Taking the lead on quarterly forecasting, reviewing performance, variances and forecasting financial performance
  • Supporting continuous improvement

Candidate

  • Chartered Accountant
  • Strong communication skills, with demonstrated experience in working with non-financials
  • Team Management experience
  • Excellent analytical skills
