Senior IT System Administrator
My client are looking for a Systems Administrator who possess a strong understanding of Azure, AWS, networking such as DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs etc as well as versed in disaster recovery and continuity planning. As a System Administrator you will need the ability to develop relationships at all levels, have the relevant technical experience in Azure and Windows based systems and willing to invest your time in growing the IT team to its full potential.
Essential
- Good communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information technology, Computer Science, or a directly related field or qualification.
- At least 5 years of prior experience working as an IT & System Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and Digital Ocean.
- Solid understanding and experience of implementing cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Experience in cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of Network Infrastructure (DNS, TCP/IP, SMTP, VPN).
- Experience in ensuring disaster recovery and business continuity systems.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of common operating systems.
- Attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure
- Experience of Cyber Essentials Certification and implementation.
