Senior IT Project Manager

Milton Keynes, hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 from home)

12-18 month FTC (possibly longer)

Our client is a well-established and reputable global brand. They're looking for a highly skilled and seasoned Senior IT Project Manager to join them on a fixed term contract basis for 12-18 months, with a possible extension beyond that.

We're looking for someone with a wealth of experience in managing projects, demonstrating proficiency in overseeing multi-faceted intricate implementations, and ensuring the seamless integration within a global context.

Experience of managing SAP projects is advantageous, experience with agile and waterfall tools/methodology is essential.

As Senior IT Project Manager you will oversee the entire project lifecycle and you will be responsible for:

  • Project leadership; strategic leadership with a focus on global template delivery.
  • Managing communication with all internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Leverage extensive experience to design and implement global templates.
  • Drive standardisation and harmonisation across diverse business units, considering regional variations and compliance requirements.
  • Stakeholder management; collaborate with cross functional teams and engage with senior stakeholders to understand business objectives, articulate goals and manage expectations.
  • Risk Management.
  • Quality Assurance.

What are we looking for?

  • Formal education in a relevant field; advanced degree or certifications in project management.
  • Significant demonstrable experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering client side projects.
  • Experience in managing SAP projects would be an advantage, but is not essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration and engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, analyse data, and develop solutions.
  • Proactive in anticipating potential problems and implementing pre-emptive measures.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
