Our client is a global pharmaceutical organisation based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. They are a vibrant, fast paced organisation providing medicines to UK customers. They are recruiting a Senior IT/OT Project Manager to join their team. The role is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday) and our client offers 1 day per week working from home. This position is a temporary contract role initially signed off until December 2024 with a possible extension and offers an hourly rate of £30.12 - £51.21 per hour, depending on experience, plus 25 days holiday pro rata and other benefits.

This position will manage the execution of IT/OT Projects for the 3 Animal Health Manufacturing sites in UK. As part of the sites Global Animal Health Manufacturing IT Team, you will be reporting into the IT Automation Lead.

This role will Project Manage and get involved in executing IT Operational Technology capital projects, ensuring that solutions deployed follow Company Technology and GxP Quality Standards.

Day to day activities include, but are not limited to:

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Delivery of Medium and Large site Capital Projects within Budget and timeline
  • Management of project execution resources and vendors
  • Deliver projects with GxP and Cybersecurity compliance.

Preferred Knowledge and Experience:

  • Data Integrity Knowledge
  • Pharmaceutical Industry Experience (GxP)
  • BMS, EMS and SCADA Systems Experience and Knowledge
  • Knowledge of IT and OT areas
  • Ability to understand complex application and OT asset landscape.
  • Strong project management skills - Maintaining Project Plans and Budgets
  • Strong planning and deliverable tracking to plan; attention to detail.
  • Advanced MS Office Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group; vendors, executives, managers and subject matter experts and users.
