Build recruitment are currently recruiting full time Senior Housing Solutions Officers to join a well established organisation, who can lead and provide support to a team of officers.
You would be expected to manager a team as well as managing your own case-load. You will be providing advice, support and guidance to those whom require assistance in housing. This will be a fast paced role where you would be expected to provide individual advice and guidance using extensive knowledge of housing law to provide the correct solutions in accordance with the Council, governance guidance and housing law. You will also be expected to investigate and assess homeless applications, carrying out interviews and making decisions in accordance with Part VII of the Housing Act 1996
You must have
Experience of managing a team and as well as a large case-load of your own
A good understanding of Housing Options with at least 1 years experience delivering a similar role
Knowledge of housing and homelessness legislation, including Part VII the Housing Act 1996
Good knowledge of Landlord & Tenant Law
Working hours will be Monday - Friday (37 hours per week).
You will also be required to hold a standard DBS.
The contract will be for around 12 weeks, but there may be potential for it to extend.
