Senior highway Planned maintenance engineer needed in London £27.22ph ref 005015

This is an exciting position within the Highway Operations and Protection Team.

The purpose of the post is to manage the boroughs Planned Maintenance programme and

budget. This involves footway and carriageway planned schemes such as whole road

resurfacing or repaving which must be delivered on time and within budget.

The post holder must have excellent financial management skills to ensure that the

annual budget is used efficiently, targeting the roads in the borough in the poorest

condition as well as contract supervision experience.

Ideally have site supervision of highway works such as repaving or resurfacing.

The candidate must be available to work on site in London 4-days per week. This may be extended to 5-days per week during periods where there are multiple schemes on the ground.

Full time hours on a temporary basis.
