Senior Gameplay Programmer

Working as a Senior Gameplay Programmer in a large-scale team on an AAA project, you'll be closely collaborating with Programmers, Designers, and Artists, as you play a pivotal role in bringing the project's vision to life. Your primary responsibility will be to implement captivating gameplay features, ensuring a perfect balance between fun and performance optimisation. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to guide, mentor, and collaborate with a talented group of programmers, while working alongside production to consistently deliver quality work on time.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Extensive Unreal Engine experience.
• Understanding the importance of efficient networking in a multiplayer game.
• Strong grasp of C++, software design, programming and debugging.
• Have a strong grasp of 3D maths for games.
• A desire to craft multiplayer games.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and architect implementations for complex gameplay systems.
• Implement new gameplay features and modes.
• Iterate on existing features and mechanics.
• Write extensible, stable, efficient code.
• Mentor Junior and Mid-level members of the team and help others learn.
• Be considerate with planning, documentation, and communication.
• Take ownership and act as a driving force for your features.
• Oversee multiple feature sets and areas of gameplay and ensure their delivery.
• Work closely with Designers to build gameplay features, taking balancing and developer interaction into account.
