Senior Estates Surveyor

We are looking for an Estate Surveyor who will ensure the efficient and profitable management of real estate assets while providing exceptional service to the council's requirements.

Pay rate

£23.77 to £25 per hour + Paid Holidays for 4 days +BH +Privilege day (pro rata)

Location

Hybrid, Once in a week in Office rest Remote. The office is based at Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council, Welwyn Garden City, AL8 6AE

Job Type

Contractual Role, Initially for 12 weekswith the view to extension

Hours

Full Time, Mon-Thu 08:00-16:00 and Fri 08:00-15:30, 37 hours per week

Start Date

ASAP, Depending on completing documentation

Responsibilities

• Vast experience in managing estates, including property valuation, rent negotiations, lease renewals, letting properties, and overseeing commercial properties.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable using electronic Property Management Systems and mapping software.
• Able to apply property and legal knowledge to complex transactions and provide recommendations to management.
• Skilled at interpreting plans and measuring properties accurately on-site and from blueprints.
• Capable of understanding and interpreting complicated laws, regulations, and legal documents related to property management.

Essential Requirements:

• Full Clean Driving Licence
• Should have their vehicle
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong IT skills especially with MS Office and using a computer
