I am currently representing a highly respected global insurer with a universally recognised brand. Based in prestigious city centre offices, their Manchester operation focuses on delivering insurance solutions via a diverse panel of brokers throughout the UK & Ireland.

Due to an internal promotion into the branch a unique opportunity has arisen for someone to assume a senior role within the e-trade Property and Packages underwriting operation. The primary focus of the role will lie with underwriting referrals from the e-trade platform, dealing with a well established existing panel of brokers based throughout the UK. In addition to underwriting and account management your role will involve identifying new opportunities and, as part of the wider team the development and implementation of new schemes and rollover deals. You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing less experienced colleagues and carrying out broker meetings on behalf of the business.

To apply for this opportunity applicants will ideally possess a commercial underwriting background including specific exposure to Property and Liability business. In addition to strong technical skills, you will demonstrate sound commercial acumen and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, negotiating and building robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Previous experience leading a team, taking technical referrals, or mentoring less experienced colleagues would be advantageous to your application.

Working for a global market leader you will receive a strong salary along with excellent benefits package. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking business in growth mode.
