SENIOR CREDIT RISK ANALYST

£40,000-£52,000

Widen your experience by bringing strategic and analytical expertise to the team and the wider business. As a Senior Analyst, you'll also have the opportunity to manage and mentor junior team members and work on in-depth project-based analysis to support the company's overall business strategy.

THE COMPANY

You will be joining the expanding credit risk team at an influential financial services company. They mainly focus on contributing a flexible product within the motor sector, providing expertise to a wide range of customers.

THE ROLE

You can expect to be involved in the following day to day:

  • Driving insight on credit risk strategies using varying data approaches
  • Collaborating with other analysts to support the development process of the business
  • Guiding and mentoring junior analysts and encouraging positive growth
  • Regularly monitor key trends in the market and identify the risks that operate with them
  • Analysing and presenting regular reports to external stakeholders

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A degree in a numerate subject is required
  • Knowledge and confidence using SQL, Python, SAS and/or R
  • Experience working within secured or unsecured products as well as portfolio management within any area of the credit lifecycle
  • Experience looking over and improving strategies for product portfolios
  • Great communication and analytical skills, driving insights in a busy environment
