My client, a leading consultancy in London specializing in the events industry, is hiring a Conference Producer for a 6-8 month contract. This is not a media production or sales role - we are looking for someone who can produce conferences from end-to-end
You must be based in the UK with full working rights
The role:
- ASAP start
- 3 days per week (part-time)
- Central London office
Responsibilities:
- Conducting preliminary research as per provided guidelines for a specified report/event, delving into the core topics it needs to cover through desk and phone inquiries.
- Collaborating with current connections while also scouting for potential contributors via desk and phone research.
- Extending invitations to key individuals to participate in the reports.
- Facilitating roundtable discussions.
- Conducting interviews with notable contributors.
- Reviewing roundtable transcripts for accuracy before publication.
- Crafting agendas for reports.
- Creating content for website pages.
The candidate:
- Demonstrate natural leadership qualities and the ability to inspire others to follow willingly.
- Exhibit a friendly and approachable demeanor, adept at managing individuals with diverse personalities and skill sets, fostering their growth and development.
- Possess extensive experience in engaging with C-suite and senior executives within a business-to-business setting, capable of articulating complex concepts both orally and in writing, including industry-specific terminology.
- Maintain a focus on targets and outcomes, driven to surpass established standards, thereby motivating colleagues to excel.
- Display exceptional organizational skills and efficiency, setting a precedent for effective time management and streamlined workflow processes.
