Senior Compensations & Benefits Specialist - About the role

Playing a key role in leading the global People function through a transformation of my clients’ compensation and rewards frameworks, policies and procedures. As the successful candidate you will be pivotal in building and implementing job levelling framework including job bandings and gradings on a global scale.

Senior Compensations & Benefits Specialist - Key duties

Lead the design and implementation of reward related policies and procedures to ensure alignment with business strategy

Lead the design and project manage the delivery of the annual pay review and bonus processes that align to performance

Evaluate and review current compensation, reward and benefits

Discovery, due diligence and analysis of relevant market compensation data, summarising for HR leads, Group Heads and C-Suite

Support all internal audit or compliance-led reviews on remuneration-related matters globally.

Support with remuneration regulatory rules mapping, by tracking and maintaining relevant rules gap analysis for the global business, prepare remuneration-related regulatory reports and filings.

Manage annual Gender Pay reporting and the creation of the narrative in support of this to ensure the organisation meets relevant regulatory reporting requirements

Support HR, recruitment and/or executive appointments with incentive planning, remuneration benchmarking and job gradings globally

Senior Compensations & Benefits Specialist - Key requirements

Broad and deep understanding of Compensation, Benefits & Reward within Insurance

Understanding of relevant FCA and PRA regulatory requirements including SMCR (senior manager certification regime)

Experience in designing and implementing compensation and benefit packages

Experience of reward, salary benchmarking, collating data and involvement during a compensation cycle

Commercially aware and able to balance risk and benefits when proposing solutions and providing advice.

Excellent communication skills and ability to challenge stakeholders
