HFG are currently recruiting for a leading Lloyd's Syndicate who are seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster to join their Delegated Authority function.

My client is looking for a experienced claims professional who has strong experience in delegated authority claims. The successful candidate will be responsible for TPA Management and DAP relationships, whilst working closely with Delegated Authority Practice Claims Manager. Experience is a wide range of classes of business is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in achieving our goal of becoming a leading provider of claims solutions by delivering exceptional claims handling services.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders within the Delegated Authority Practice to meet corporate goals and uphold company values.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to ensure high-quality customer service in claims handling.
  • Report to the Delegated Authority Practice Claims Manager, with oversight from the Deputy Head of Claims and matrix reporting to the Head of the Delegated Authority Practice.
  • Work closely with the DAP manager to oversee the Portfolio and TPA relationships.
  • Manage TPA and DAP relationships to ensure compliance with service level agreements and claims handling standards.
  • Implement LSM's claims reserving philosophy and standards consistently.
  • Support in selecting and onboarding new TPA service arrangements when needed.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders involved in the claims process and maintain relationships with external parties.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with TPA and DAP relationships.
  • Implement an annual audit strategy for delegated authority and utilize resources effectively.
  • Monitor compliance and report on best practices in service and communication through system reporting and internal file audits.
  • Coordinate with Claims Operations to optimize operational efficiencies and outsource non-technical tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with approved Panel list and provide guidance to external legal and claims adjusters.
  • Collaborate with claim pillar heads to effectively manage TPA/DAP objectives.
  • Work with underwriters and business development managers to foster positive relationships with clients and promote best practices.
  • Address customer and TPA complaints promptly and efficiently in line with companies Conduct Policy.
