Service Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a London borough Council who are seeking a Civil Litigation Lawyer to join them on a locum basis. Please find below further details with regards to this.

ROLE: Senior Civil Litigation Lawyer
LOCATION: East London
RATE: £40.00 to £50.00
CONTRACT: 3 months ongoing

The Role of the Civil Litigation Lawyer

• To manage a caseload of Civil Litigation matters through to completion
• Matters will include disrepair, homelessness, anti-social behaviour, unauthorised occupation, employment and miscellaneous litigation
• Conducting own advocacy and be able to conduct your caseload with minimum supervision

The Person

• A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 12 months' PQE
• Experienced in conducting own advocacy of Civil Litigation matters through to completion
• Previous working experience at a local authority would be required
