A leading International insurance group and Lloyd's Market business is currently recruiting for a Senior Catastrophe Risk Analyst to work in the London city office. Working with AIR and focusing on Property Binders and open market.

Summary
To provide support around the catastrophe modelling work for the business. This will include Property, Cargo Specie, Workers Comp and Energy on both DnF and Binder accounts. Supporting the DnF Modelling Manager and Syndicate Exposure Manager with all aspects of catastrophe modelling. Training of less experienced team members and dealing with day to day modelling queries.

Essential Job Functions
Management, training and support of Exposure Managements Analysts along with support and guidance, where required.
Help with data management in AIR, including portfolio management, monthly reporting, group roll up, overview of preparation for import into AIR, aggregate management and reporting, catastrophe loss analysis and interpretation of results to the underwriting teams.
Supporting DnF Modelling Manager and Syndicate Exposure Manager with all aspects of Catastrophe Modelling.
Help with the continued development of the reporting processes and documentation, to ensure accurate, efficient output that can help to drive and deliver better underwriting practices.
Demonstrate appropriate, consistent and complete consideration of our customers and potential customers' interests, throughout our business, on a continuous basis'

Qualifications and Experience:
5+ years' experience of working in the insurance industry in a Catastrophe/Exposure Risk Analyst position
Knowledge of natural catastrophe modeling software: with a preference to AIR's Touchstone.
Good understanding of Insurance terminology and policy/slip structures.
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience with Property, Cargo Specie and Energy Onshore DnF reporting.
Knowledge of Binder Processing and reporting would be a bonus.
Experience with looking after and mentoring less experienced members of the team.
